04 Days Aswan / Esna (Every Friday)
Day 1: Friday
We will meet you at the airport and take you to the Dahabiya ABUNDANCE, where you will enjoy a warm welcome. Select your cabins and meet your Egyptologist tour guide. We set sail in Aswan and start on our magical tour. Our first stop in Kom Ombo. Visit the double temples of Haroeris and Sobek, the crocodile god, in Kom Ombo.
Day 2: Saturday
Discover antique sandstone boulders and chapels hewn out of the rock by rulers of pharaonic times. In Edfu you will visit the temple of Horus, which is the best maintained temple in all of Egypt.
Day 3: Sunday
We set sail to continue our journey. Enjoy the views of the river and the life on the river bank. Visit the temple of Khnum in Esna.
Day 4: Monday
Enjoy your breakfast. Captain Mohammed and his crew will bid you farewell.
05 Days Esna or Luxor / Aswan (Every Monday)
Day 1: Monday
We will take you from Luxor to Esna where you embark Dahabiya ABUNDANCE Wadi el Kheir You visit the Temple of Chnum in Esna after which we set sail and start your magical journey. We sail on and you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Nile. For the night we moor at a peaceful island.
Day 2: Tuesday
Sailing to Edfu where you can visit the Temple of Horus which is one of the best-preserved temples in all of Egypt. In Wadi Shat we can take you on a leisurely walk through a village and see ancient rock drawings. We will moor at Gebel el Silsila. Your dinner will be served on deck.
Day 3: Wednesday
In Gebel el Silsila, a quarry, we can explore ancient sandstone boulders and chapels hewn out of the rock in pharaonic times. Then we will continue to see the spectacular double temple of Sobek and Haroeris in Kom Ombo.
Day 4: Thursday
We stroll through the village with its colorful displays of fruits and vegetables. We will anchor at a beautiful spot so that you can go for a walk or relax on the boat.
Day 5: Friday
Disembark in Aswan – After a leisurely breakfast, Captain Mohammed and his crew will bid you farewell and wish you safe onward travels.
